My name is Nick Kemp and I created Nick Kemp Training which offers skills based, training opportunities for the business and personal development sectors. These take place either in-house or at public events in the UK, USA and Europe.
My Background and Philosophy on Training
Since the late 1970s I have been involved in personal development and accelerated learning trainings, as well as running training events for the business sector. My background in sales and customer care has given me a good insight into the importance of great staff training and how this directly impacts on business success.
Over the last three decades I have attended some really excellent events and some really dreadful ones both in the world of business and of personal development. In the latter events the trainers were often well intentioned but simply either unaware of the needs of the audience, or simply didn't have the necessary skills to make it a useful learning experience for those attending. I am therefore mindful that in any training there is essentially "a trade" that occurs between the trainer and those attending the event. This trade is not just a financial trade it is also a trade in time and energy.
